Upcoming Advocacy Meetings
RIFI Monthly Steering Committee Meeting
Membership is open to agencies, state partners, and father leaders. Meetings are every First Thursday and location changes monthly. Contact Christian Nunez with questions or to get involved.
RI Birth Parent Advisory Board Meeting
Birth Parents who have been involved with child welfare — both closed and unresolved cases are welcome.
Attend First Thursday monthly meetings to give input and participate in time-limited workgroups and subcommittees.
RI Children's Behavioral Health FEW Group Meeting
Join us Third Thursdays monthly in Warwick.
Do you have direct lived experience with meeting the mental health needs for your child and family? Are you a family support peer provider in the mental health workforce?
Work with other family leaders, state and community partners to promote policy and practice change to better meet the mental health of children, youth and families and reduce disparities.
Official members will receive $35 gift cards for their attendance at meeting in person or online. Children's activities and transportation can be coordinated.
Youth & Young Adult Workgroup
An empowering group for young people ages 13-18 to share their lived experience and ideas on how to improve mental health services in Rhode Island - help change the system!
